FULI Carpet’s new outdoor carpet collection, inspired by the marine environment, transforms natural landscapes into artistic forms, creating a magical encounter between people and products within a space that symbolizes nature. In the exhibition, unique traditional craftsmanship such as hand weaving, sewing, hand tufting, hooking, and modular design are all beautifully showcased.
As a crystallization of craftsmanship, the FULI Carpet outdoor collection has been in pursuit of a yarn that is both durable and revolutionary. This includes a high-performance synthetic yarn discovered through the study of textile weaving technology—derived from polyolefin and offering the natural texture and feel of fabric. This yarn has a fitting name - "Rope". Similar to the yarn used in sailing, it is waterproof, UV-resistant, highly durable, and environmentally friendly, reflecting the harmony between product creation and the natural environment.The globally patented "Call Me By Your Name" modular carpet is the perfect embodiment of traditional craftsmanship and modern aesthetics using the "Rope" yarn. FULI Carpet fully harnesses the unique properties of the rope, wrapping it around a square base to form symbolic shapes. With modular design thinking, each identical shape is methodically arranged and organized into a cohesive visual carpet, transforming the rope from a singular component into a multidimensional, innovative carpet form. "SPOT ON" is a handcrafted series created by rotational stitching of durable polyolefin rope, producing a unique layered texture and enticing pattern. Functionally, this carpet, with its larger gaps and flexible rope construction, is better suited for surfaces that undergo ecological changes, such as fine sand, allowing natural elements to be reflected through the gaps in the carpet.
