Fuli Carpet × Bryce Cai: Their eyes have countless variations.

Their eyes express many things inscrutable which are full of ambitions, desires and truth.

"She" is unique in this era and cannot be defined by others.

Just like the combination of various processes, it always surprises people

Every stitch is irreplaceable

One glance gets into souls.

As achievements of Fuli Carpet's new high-end customization, interior designer Bryce Cai created three hand-woven tufted blankets. The faces of contemporary women are focused on the ever-changing eyes with exquisite makeups. They express women's self-awakening through the exclusive and sophisticated craft forms of Fuli Carpet, such as sheet metal embroidery, gemstone setting and finch hair decoration

Bryce Cai has worked with Fuli Carpet for many years. As an emerging interior designer, his studio's color representations of space carriers of contemporary lifestyle are particularly popular. The colors and shades of the interior environment shape the different situations of urban life, and continue to enliven everyone's emotions. It is such a sensitivity that allows Bryce to observe the tension of contemporary women to express themselves through makeup. Their eyes, ghost or cunning, are very vivid under pretty makeups. Hence, this set of handmade tufted blankets Backstage is created.

At Objective, a design gallery that has recently become a hot topic in Shanghai, this set of carpets is also presented at the COEXIST exhibition with Fuli Carpet's 2020 collections. Among the innovative works of many contemporary Chinese new designers, the woven carpets of Fuli Carpet also present a new perspective: witnessing diversity. It not only plays the diversified role of techniques and materials, but also makes the woven carpet as an art-work to express diversified spirits.

"Woven carpets are generally accepted as functional furniture ornaments, but they can also be functional works of art - a relatively new concept in China. In fact, the earliest Chinese vases and dishes are representatives of early functional artworks, but people has gradually ignored this point as things developed. Functional art pieces are still highly-appreciated and collected by many museums and celebrities abroad."

As designer Bryce Cai said, Fuli Carpet will continue to create the artistic attributes of contemporary high-end hand-woven carpets based on exquisite craftsmanship and rich materials.
